Let me explain...

Today, we went to Central Park Mall because there is a Carrefour there and we needed to buy house supplies and all that.

So, as we were entering the mall, I was behind a mother with a baby stroller and she, for some reason, deemed it important to stop right in front of the entrance just a little inside of the automatic doors.

Being polite, I waited patiently for the mum and her baby to start moving. I didn't want to push my way past her. And anyhow, with all the people, I couldn't.

Thus I inadvertently stopped right inside the entrance of the mall, right between the automatic doors.


And they closed on me.

That's right, on me.


There is a first for everything.

ps: to be fair,they don't put the sensors in between the doors, do they? So it's quite logical that I was undetectable. But it is anyhow, rather amusing.

Life

Life is as usual. Nothing more nothing less

I finally got a day out after two weeks of holing up at home, studying. or pretending to.

Went to the Px pavilion today with Aqilah. I've been meaning to for ages. There is a TIMES bookstore there. And if you know me, this is BIG. the is so big, it is ridiculous.

Anyway, I am happy with the English book selection over there. I had targeted around 5 books, but yeah, money. I have none. So bought only 2 books in the end. "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" which I have been meaning to get for ages and "Perdido Street Station". I have no idea about the last book, it just seemed interesting.

I actually have already read THGttG before, while I was in matriculation. It was a very old library book and it had all volumes combined which made it awesome. I loved reading that book. :)

Anyway, after that we got caught in the rain for a bit before we finally found an Angkut and headed to PURI mall to do some lunch. It was Secret Recipe and it was awesome. I now have two cheesecakes waiting for me in the fridge. Because I already ate the third one. Haha.

And I bought a dress. A really cute knee length floral printed blue dress. You have not misread, I did, actually buy a dress. And I am gonna wear it. Soon. Maybe. When I'm brave enough.

Aqi mentioned this to while we were clothes browsing. She realized that now, when she goes shopping or walking around she tends to look to blouses and stuff. Ladies things. Sophisticated things. Button down shirt things. She said she thinks that it's a part of growing up. Our tastes are changing, we're dressing smarter. We're trying to make an impression.

I agree with her, yeah. I dress different sometimes. In little pieces, I think I'll change. I'll grow up. It's inevitable.

But right now? Right now, I swear to myself, if I ever go shopping some more, that I'll never forget to look at the t-shirts. The ones with the funky designs, and catchy phrases. The ones with cute pictures and random prints.

Because I'm not ready to grow up yet.

Here we are, smack in the middle of our exam week, and I am sick.

I am sick!

I can't sleep properly cause my back hurts, my head feels heavy, I still have to stay up to study for the papers, I'm sneezing gunk and maybe some lung and I've started to develop a cough, though it's still not productive which is good.

Nona, go take some paracetamol wouldja?

I don't like taking meds. :(

i usually just let the thing run it's course, then I'll be fine.

Here's to hoping I can stay up and finish reading all the required notes for this class. It's internal medicine people. The known enemy. And yet here I am writing my blog? well can't start studying before 8.30 anyway. So why not?

On another note, the world is really effin' small.

On another note, oral medicine sucks. I have another word for it, but I am trying to keep the blog clean. Hahah (see that happening soon -_-)

Costumes for Gantz movie have been released today.

omg....OMG....OMG!

I seem to remember saying that one of the reasons want to watch the movie was to see Nino in a tight suit (skin tight suit), kicking alien ass. And, seeing the teasers, they be delivering. *nosebleeds*

Please 2011, come soon. And please, some random cineplex near where I live, please get the distribution rights.

I am alive!

and taking the worst time ever to update my blog, but hey, desperate times call for desperate measures. I need to retain my sanity somewhere.

About the Talent Day mentioned in my last post, it went off without a hitch. Which was awesome

We failed at keeping synchronized. Which was epic fail.

We all had fun. Which is again, awesome.

Because i f'**ked up, I'm not gonna upload the video here. XD Oh lordy.....

Erm, anything else? Life is a major problem as usual. As are exams. But really, since when has it not been? I think I used up too much energy during last block and that Talent Day in the first week and all I can feel now, is burned out. Urgh. Need to get some spirit back, Exam Week is upon us. Oh who shall pity our souls? Apparently not the lecturers

As a parting gift, have a picture I drew in msPaint. It fails too, at being recognizable and clean. But hey, I sort of like this dirty style. :)
